  • Understanding and configuring user preferences and project settings 
  • Creating and managing the Enterprise Project Structure (EPS) 
  • Creating projects and defining project dates, parameters, and calendars
  • Developing and organizing the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) 
  • Creating activities and defining activity types, attributes, and codes 
  • Organizing, grouping, sorting, and customizing activity layouts 
  • Building a structured project plan for effective scheduling and reporting

Project Schedule Development, CPM, Resource Loading, and Cost Management

  • Developing the project schedule and defining activity sequences 
  • Creating activity relationships and understanding relationship types 
  • Applying scheduling logic and developing activity networks 
  • Using the Critical Path Method (CPM) to analyze project schedules 
  • Identifying critical activities, critical paths, and total float 
  • Running schedule calculations and analyzing schedule results 
  • Applying constraints, milestones, and key project dates effectively 
  • Creating resource dictionaries and defining labor, material, and equipment resources 
  • Assigning and loading resources and analyzing resource usage 
  • Developing budgets, allocating costs, and integrating resources with project schedules
